Such a treat for me as a child. I haven’t had it in years. It was part of the roast that was just “there”….”eskimo candy” my grandma called it. (Please – no one hit me with the un-pc comments – she was a wonderful woman born in 1901.)

Do it! It’s so easy and such a treat. I read “eskimo” and immediately thought of ice cream! In Nicaragua, the ice cream company is called “Eskimo” and instead of asking for ice cream you ask for an eskimo. Not that bone marrow eskimo would be any good 😦
